We note with great sadness the passing of Prof. Ramaswamy H. Sarma , the founder of the Albany Conversations and a guiding force behind the Next Gen Conversations.

Prof. Sarma’s vision, leadership, and commitment to scientific community-building shaped this meeting from its inception and continue to influence its spirit and direction.
